There is a completely different feeling surrounding Tottenham Hotspur this season compared to 2022/23.
Last season, the club was in disarray with Antionio Conte at the helm, but the arrival of Ange Postecoglou in the summer has brought a sense of optimism to the club.
This positivity is reflecting in Spurs' Premier League form who are yet to lose in England's top flight this season.
Unlike previous campaigns where it has often been Harry Kane who has been the standout performer for the North London club, it is now more of a collective effort from the team when it comes to putting points on the board, but that did not stop former Spurs player William Gallas revealing who he thought has been the team's best player so far this season.
"The one player that has really caught my eye for Tottenham this season is Yves Bissouma. He has started the season really well and looks very strong," Gallas told Genting Casino.
"He joined the club from Brighton last summer and he didn’t really play that much. This season, under a new manager, he is controlling the midfield and his partnership with Pape Sarr looks like a good one. It looks Iike they are enjoying playing with each other and they look very strong."
Postecoglou is now preparing for his biggest test so far as Spurs manager when his side travel to Arsenal in the first North London Derby of the season on Sunday.
