Ollie Watkins would fit in well at Arsenal, according to former Gunner William Gallas.
Watkins is currently with England at Euro 2024, where the Three Lions have advanced to the final. It was Watkins' 90th-minute goal that secured victory for England in the semi-final, and Gallas believes the 28-year-old should be at the top of Arsenal's summer shopping list.
Speaking to Lord Ping, Gallas explained why he thinks Watkins would succeed in North London, and which current Arsenal player would benefit the most from a potential move.
"For Arsenal, I like Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins," he said.
"He has the pace you need to have as a striker and with a player like Martin Odegaard in behind him it would just be magnificent, think of all the assists.
"It’s so difficult to defend against players like Ollie Watkins because he’s so clever with his runs, with Odegaard they would do so much damage. If I was at Arsenal I’d choose him."
