The Portuguese superstar has already won a major international tournament with his nation — Euro 2016 — but the World Cup represents the cherry on top of a legendary career in which Ronaldo has raised nearly every piece of silverware available to him.
Portugal were drawn into Group H in Qatar, alongside Uruguay, South Korea and Ghana, and they should be favoured to come out of the group. None of the other three sides would be considered truly top tier at this moment, but all have the personnel to compete with nearly any country in the world.

The Uruguayans, in particular, boast enough firepower to do considerable damage in the group stage and beyond, making the second matchday showdown with Portugal a crucial one for both sides.
