The 2024 European Championships may only be in its second round of matches, but it has already produced some incredible moments.
Another was added to that list on Wednesday evening, as Xherdan Shaqiri scored a brilliant curling strike for Switzerland against Scotland to level the game at 1-1.
And it is a goal which has set an incredible record for the former Liverpool man, which not even the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo can claim to have achieved.
Shaqiri, 32, stands alone as being the only player to have scored in the last three European Championships and World Cups.
In the 2014 World Cup, Shaqiri scored a hat-trick against Honduras to start the incredible run of tournaments scored in.
He followed that up with one of the goals of the tournament at Euro 2016, a stunning bicycle kick against Poland.
Shaqiri's third straight tournament with a goal came at the 2018 World Cup where he scored in a 2-1 win over Serbia.
The Swiss winger added three goals at the 2020 Euros, two against Turkey and another against Spain.
Serbia were the unfortunate recepients of another Shaqiri stike in the 2022 World Cup, in another game where Switzerland won.
And this incredible run of scoring in six-straight major tournaments was completed on Wednesday against Scotland in Cologne.
