Six Kings Slam Tennis: What is the prize money available at Riyadh Season?DAZN
With some of the biggest names in the sport set to take part this week, there is an eye-watering purse up for grabs.

Riyadh Season presents the Six Kings Slam for the first time this week, with several of the greatest men's tennis players around the globe set to face off in Saudi Arabia.

In one of his final appearances before retirement, Rafael Nadal heads the field alongside old rival Novak Djokovic and four-time grand slam winner Carlos Alcaraz.

World number one Jannik Sinner, 2021 US Open champion Daniil Medvedev and former world number four Holger Rune are also in the mix, with a massive cash prize on the line.

But just what is the payday players will take home from the event? Here, DAZN breaks down the prize money on offer at the Six Kings Slam.

What is the prize money for the Six Kings Slam?

The top prize money for the Six Kings Slam is $6 million USD, which will be awarded to the victor upon completion of Saturday's final in the exhibition tournament.

For context, that is more than twice the money awarded to the winner of both the Australian Open and the French Open.

It is still more than $2m USD above the winning prize pot for victory in the men's singles draw at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open too.

All six players will automatically bank a minimum of $1.5m USD for their participation alone in the tournament too, a figure that eclipses most other prizes in the sport.

  • Winner: $6 million USD
  • All players: $1.5 million USD

What is the Six Kings Slam schedule?

The Six Kings Slam begins on Wednesday, October 16 with first round matches between Daniil Medvedev and Jannik Sinner, and Holger Rune and Carlos Alcaraz.

The two winners progress to the semi-finals on Thursday, October 17, where Novak Djokovic faces the winner of the former and Rafael Nadal meets the winner of the latter.

All four remaining players will then feature on Saturday, October 19, in the third-place match and then the final between the two semi-final winners.

Is the Six Kings Slam a fifth Grand Slam event?

The Six Kings Slam is not a Grand Slam event. It is an exclusive exhibition tournament featuring the sport's best players from the ATP Tour, but is not an official event either.

That means that players will score no ranking points for their performance and that it does not count alongside the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open.
