Another AEW Dynamite Grand Slam event has delivered memorable moments.
One of the highlights of the 2023 installment had the Chris Jericho vs. Sammy Guevara ending producing a mirror image to the WrestleMania 19 Moment that Jericho had with Shawn Michaels following their thrilling match back in March 2003.
After Jericho delivered a brilliant Codebreaker counter to pin Guevara, the two men embraced as a sign of respect, only for Guevara to deliver a low-blow kick to Jericho. As the legend fell to his knees in pain, Guevara took a cold, hard look at Jericho before mushing his face back and laying him out on the mat.
It was a mirror image to the ending of the Michaels-Jericho WrestleMania match, which had the two men similarly embrace after HBK's victory. That was followed by Jericho low-blow kicking Michaels, before mushing him in the face and laying him out on the canvas.
