Dustin Rhodes has shared his delight at seeing his brother, Cody, finally become WWE Champion.
Cody Rhodes finally finished his story this past weekend, as he beat Roman Reigns to end his three-year run as Undisputed WWE Champion and win the title for the very first time in his career.
The emotional WrestleMania main event is being talked about as one the greatest headline matches in the event's history, and talking to Sports Illustrated, older brother Dustin - known as Goldust in WWE - said the win has put Cody into a new stratosphere.
"Watching Cody, that was emotional," Dustin said.
"I enjoyed the ride they all took us on. I watch everything and I study everything, and seeing him perform at such a high level–at the top, two nights in a row–it’s truly amazing.
"Cody pulled it off, and it was an incredible feeling. I’m very proud of him. He’s a superstar that has turned into a mega star."
