AEW is set to hold its massive All In London at Wembley Stadium mega event on August 27.
And it could be the stage for one massive star's return.
"Odds are, I would have to say, if I was a betting person — because I'm not allowed to stooge — I'd say the odds are pretty good that I'll be here for All In," Paul Wight told DAZN's Chris Hatch exclusively during a recent interview.
Having a storied career performing in front of massive venues, even Wight isn't sure that he's ever wrestled in front of a crowd as tight as Wembley is bound to be packed next month.
"I haven't even worked in front of a UK crowd this big," the veteran conceded.
Wight added: "I know what it means. I think some of the other guys that have worked bigger shows like this know what it means. I think some of our younger talent haven't comprehended it yet because they haven't worked in front of a crowd like this."
If All In is indeed his destination for a return to AEW, Wight will be coming back from the knee replacement surgery he had last August. Although working back from that injury and surgery has proved arduous, Wight feels great.
"It's amazing how difficult the knee is versus the hip," Wight shared. "I think when I had my hips done, they came around a lot stronger, a lot faster. The knees are a lot more difficult, rehab is a lot more intensive. The pain afterward is a lot more intensive. They told me that going into it but I didn't believe them.
"But I'm good," he continued. "I've got full range of motion. I've got more range of motion with my fixed knee than I did with my knee before. My knee hasn't moved that good in 14 years."
