How many titles changed hands at AEW Revolution 2024?DAZN
It was a packed card from top to bottom.

The AEW Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event Sunday night touted six different championship matches.

Although Samoa Joe exploited the rivalry between Swerve Strickland and "Hangman" Adam Page to retain his AEW World Championship in a Triple Threat match and Toni Storm used an assist from Luther to edge Deonna Purrazzo and keep the AEW Women's World Title around her waist, there was one big shakeup across the championship front.

The one and only title to change hands at AEW Revolution 2024? Well, that came as a result of Roderick Strong defeating Orange Cassidy to become the new AEW International Champion.

Although Cassidy entered the match with 12 title defenses to his name, Strong made sure that he wouldn't get to 13.

Strong targeted Cassidy's back and ribs, using his Stronghold submission and a half Boston Crab with a knee to the back to wrench and leave "Freshly Squeezed" in excruciating pain.

The buffet of backbreakers paved the way for Strong to unleash his End of Heartache finisher and snatch the International Championship.

In addition to Joe and Storm, Christian Cage, Eddie Kingston, and the team of Sting and Darby Allin were also able to retain their respective world titles.

Cage remained TNT Champion by defeating Daniel Garcia, while Kingston retained his Continental Crown Championship by outlasting Bryan Danielson in a terrific match. Sting and Allin produced plenty of fireworks in putting away The Young Bucks to retain their own Tag Team Championship.
