John Cena gives update on possible WrestleMania event in London

John Cena gives update on possible WrestleMania event in LondonDAZN
The WWE star is entering the final stages of his career inside the ring.

John Cena is confident that WrestleMania will arrive in London in the not so distant future.

Cena's role as an in-ring competitor is coming to an end after he announced earlier this year that he plans to retire at the end of 2025.

This will mean that his last WrestleMania match will be in 2025 when WWE's biggest event will be held in Las Vegas.

While Cena is aware that he will not be able to perform if WrestleMania does indeed get held in the English capital, he is confident that it will happen after Nick Khan and Triple H recently held talks with the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

"I’ve campaigned for WrestleMania to be located in London because I think London has earned the right to host the grandest stage of them all," Cena told talkSPORT

"Nick Khan and Triple H were just there talking to the Mayor of London so hopefully things work out and maybe there’s a WrestleMania in London in the future.

"It’s not going to happen in 2025, I unfortunately won’t have a match there, but if it does, I will absolutely be there as a fan."
