Logan Paul's meteoric rise in sports entertainment just reached a new height.
Rey Mysterio had the Maverick right where he wanted him.
The WWE legend had just detonated the 619 onto Paul and went to scale the ropes to finish him off. But that's when Paul donned a pair of brass knuckles that one of his cronies slipped him earlier in the match and blasted Mysterio with a right-handed, loaded punch to become the new U.S. Champion at WWE Crown Jewel 2023 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Following the match, Paul bent down and told Mysterio that he had to do it to which Mysterio said "you know what you did."
When Paul's friend originally passed him the brass knuckles, Mysterio's fellow LWO member Santos Escobar nullified the threat.
However, when Escobar chased Paul's friend away, the knuckles were left on the outer edge of the ring apron and in just the right place for Paul to don them and use them after falling victim to the 619.
Triple H saluted Paul on the biggest win of his career.
