Say his name, and he'll appear, and now 2024 breakout star Joe Hendry has set his sights on his biggest challenge yet.
It's been one hell of a year for the Scottish Superstar, and it could end in championship gold with him set to challenge Nic Nemeth for the TNA World title later this month at Bound For Glory.
It's a match that's well deserved, having been one of TNA's most talked-about stars both in and out of the ring in 2024. Not only for his displays in TNA, but for his recent crossover to NXT, where he got to mix it up with Peter Dunne and NXT champion Ethan Page, as well as rub shoulders with WWE royalty in Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
Then there's the song that surged his rise to stardom. 'I Believe in Joe Hendry' became an overnight sensation, peaking at number 4 in the UK charts and appearing on billboards across Glasgow ahead of WWE's Clash of the Castle. There's now even talk of a run at Christmas number one.

However, Hendry also has another target in his sights. In an exclusive interview with DAZN ahead of Bound For Glory, he has laid a challenge down to one of wrestling's biggest names.
"I have a very singular focus, and it would be foolish of me to overlook Nic Nemeth. Nic Nemeth is one of the best to ever do this, but if I can get it done and I can raise my game, and I can somehow take the title from Nic Nemeth, if I can win against the odds, man, it's hard for me not to think that John Cena could be tempted to cross the line into TNA and challenge for that title.
"That would be my dream match if I could get it done, it would be to invite John Cena.
"In pro wrestling anything can happen at the moment, isn't it, for sure? Anything can happen anytime, anywhere, any show.
"And that doesn't just mean that for me. Who are we going to see appear in TNA? There's always surprises."
