AEW stars are used to touring the world and trying food from every corner of the globe, but when it comes to UK cuisine, there's only one choice for Swerve Strickland.
"Nando's, 100%," Strickland exclusively told DAZN's Tom Scarborough ahead of AEW Revolution next month, where he'll be challenging Samoa Joe for his AEW World Championship in a triple-threat match alongside long-term rival Hangman Page.
The 33-year-old had no hesitation in revealing his love for the chicken restaurant, admitting to several visits over the years, but also gave a shout out to the local Tescos outlets too - even sharing his go-to snacks from the store.
"Nandos for sure," he continued.
"I think I had Nandos the night before (AEW All In last year). From years ago, ten years ago, Will Ospreay introduced me to it. Me, him and Pete Dunne would have Nandos, in fact, we'd have a whole car full of people together and that would be our meal.
"Then after the show, you're looking at Tescos or something and you'd be looking to put something together to create a meal with these chips and drinks. I used to find a bag of Doritos and a Twix bar and some type of drink like Powerade or water, or even an energy drink."
However, the all-important question when it comes to Nandos is, what kind level of sauce does Swerve Strickland go for?
"Oh, mild. Mild for me, dude." he confessed.
