CM Punk shocked the wrestling world on Saturday night when he returned to WWE almost ten years after walking out on the company.
Up until September, Punk was working for AEW but a big falling out with Jack Perry at All In at Wembley Stadium saw Tony Khan, the man in charge at AEW, relieve Punk of his duties.
Since leaving AEW, Punk has been seen at a number of events including one for Impact Wrestling and also speaking on MMA shows.
Speculation linking him to a WWE return was watered down by many prominent wrestling journalists, but his stunning return has proved many wrong and Khan was recently asked about it.
“Can’t talk about that nor think it is the time or the place,” said Khan when asked about Punk by Steve Hermon for BBC
“I appreciate you asking and I’m very excited about AEW All In.”
