Slammiversary 2023 proved a difficult challenge to those who started the night with belts, as five of the six title fights went the way of the challenger.

Most notably, Trinity used her Starstruck submission to tap out Deonna Purrazzo to claim the Knockouts Championship and end 'The Virtuosa's third stint with the belt.

The event's first change came in the pre-show, as Kenny King beat Joe Hendry to become the new Digital Media Champion.

And it took just two fights into the main card to see yet another title move hands, this time the Knockout Tag Team belts as Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich defeated former champions Taylor Wilde and KiLynn King.

Impact also has a new X-Division Champion, as Lio Rush beat Chris Sabin in controversial fashion after ambushing the former champ on his walk to the ring, ending his ninth reign as champion after just 37 days.

The fifth title switch came in the chaotic four-way tag team fight between Ace Austin and Chris Bey, Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster, Brian Myers and Moose, and Rich Swann and Sami Callihan.

And it was Subculture's Andrews and Webster who proved victorious to claim the Tag Team Titles.

The one other title fight of the night came in the main event between Alex Shelley and Nick Aldis, but on this occasion the reigning champion Shelley retained his World Championship title.
