Just days after the company's merger into TKO Sports was finalized, WWE has reportedly made numerous talent cuts.
The professional wrestling organization was officially merged into the same corporate entity that holds the UFC last week, and on Thursday reports began circulating that some performers had been released from WWE.
Adeel Alam, who most recently performed on SmackDown under the ring name Mustafa Ali, posted on X early Thursday that he was "no longer" working with WWE. Alam's statement on social media was followed by similar posts from Tenille Dashwood, Nhooph Al-Areebi and Mike Rallis, also known as Emma, Aliyah and Riddick Moss, respectively.
Additionally, it was reported by Fightful.com that Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth), Elias (Jeffrey Sciullo), Shelton Benjamin, AJ "Top Dolla" Francis and Rick Boogs (Eric Bugenhagen) had also been released.
