Who will CM Punk face in Chicago? Five potential matches for AEW All Out 2023DAZN

AEW is currently surrounded in excitement as the company prepares for its UK debut with All In taking place at Wembley stadium on August 27, but that’s not all AEW has to be giddy about.

The following week, All Out takes place in Chicago, and with that event home to some of AEW’s most memorable moments, what will go down at this year’s show?

Here, DAZN looks at a number of potential matches that could take place at AEW All Out?

CM Punk vs. MJF

If MJF retains his world title against Adam Cole at All In, then it’s only a matter of time before him and CM Punk renew hostilities. Punk’s claim that he’s the real world champion will eventually irk whoever is holding the AEW world title and if that man is still MJF at the end of August then he could head straight into battle against his old nemesis.

MJF vs. Adam Cole

Do we get a definitive ending at All In between the unlikely friends? The pair are enjoying a stellar run as a tag team and with plenty of miles left in the storyline, does it have to cease at Wembley? Plenty of other characters are set to get involved at some point and that means that this brilliant tale could still have many more chapters left to unfold.

CM Punk vs. Hangman Adam Page

A feud that dominated 2022, inside the ring and out, but could we get CM Punk and Hangman Adam Page together again for a rivalry that would do solid business? Punk took a few shots at the cowboy after a recent Collision went off the air and it’s not known whether that’s how he truly feels or whether it’s the seed for a match that could set up a huge era of prosperity for AEW.

The JAS vs. The Don Callis Family

As it stands, it’s unknown what faction Chris Jericho will represent moving forward but it should become clear soon. Will the veteran set up with Don Callis in a group that will have a ton of potential or will he remain loyal to his current bunch and help take down the man who has spent the last few weeks desperately trying to recruit him?

Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita

A vicious rivalry going back months but were still waiting for Kenny Omega and Konosuke Takeshita to settle their differences. Omega was betrayed by Don Callis in favour of the Japanese star and although they’ve traded blows in multiple group outings, a one-on-one match between two of the world’s best operators is almost certain to deliver a classic spectacle.
