Would Batista ever return for another WWE match?DAZN
The former WWE Champion breaks it all down.

Batista has built quite the Hollywood acting resume since being finished with pro wrestling.

But having witnessed fellow wrestlers turned actors such as John Cena and The Rock dabble in and out of WWE, would Batista ever consider a return for another match?

While speaking with Chris Van Vliet in promotion of his upcoming movie "The Killer's Game," Batista said he's not willing to "tarnish" his "storybook ending," which came in WrestleMania 35 via a loss to Triple H in a No Holds Barred match back in April 2019.

“I did [know] I just didn’t tell anybody else," the former WWE champion began saying about his final match. "I didn’t want it to be a big ordeal. I didn’t want to go out and do the tour and give a speech. I wanted to have my match and I wanted to call it a career, so I wanted to go out on my own terms. [My last match] was great, I was really proud of it."

He added: "Gotta go out on your back. This is the way I wanted to go out. This is like a dream for me. This is why it’s so perfect, it’s such a romantic way.

"Wrestlers don’t get to choose the way they go out. I did. I went out on my own terms the way I wanted with the guy I wanted to go out with. I will never tarnish that.

"It’s not that I don’t miss it. I miss a crowd. I miss the energy of the crowd. I dream about walking out and hearing my entrance music. But I know if I do that, I will just tarnish my storybook ending, and I’m just not willing to do it.”

One thing Batista would return to WWE for is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He told Van Vliet that Triple H wanted him to be inducted a few years ago and he agreed, although the logistics at the time didn't allow it as Batista was busy filming a movie.

He did say that "one day I would like to" formally be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
