The wrestling icon hung up his boots after Sunday's AEW Revolution.

AEW Superstar and wrestling legend Sting has outlined his retirement plans after bringing down the curtain on his illustrious career at Sunday's Revolution show.

The 64-year-old main evented the event, successfully retaining the AEW Tag Team tiles alongside partner Darby Allin as they defeated the Young Bucks in a show-stopping finale.

Sting entered the match flanked by his two sons, each dressed in a classic Sting persona of the past, and proceeded to bring an end to his forty-year career in the business.

After the show, speaking at the media scrum, Sting was asked whether he'll reamin with AEW in some form of non-competitve role or does he have other plans now that his in-ring days are behind him.

“Tony (Khan) has mentioned me staying on board in some form or fashion," the Stinger said.

“We haven’t really worked anything out there yet but I’m sure we’ll have some kind of conversation and I’m saying maybe we’ll see what happens.

“I have no interest in being a manager or anything like that, or an agent. I don’t want to do any of that stuff so I’m not sure what I can offer.”
