Steph Curry backed 'Team Canelo' after watching Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez defeat Gennadiy Golovkin on Saturday night, in a fight shown live on DAZN (check regions for the replay).
The Golden State Warriors legend was in attendance in Las Vegas to watch the 32-year-old Mexican undisputed super middleweight champion successfully defend his four belts.
It represented the third time the duo had fought, with the Kazakh fighter coming off worse both in the ring and on the judges' scorecard, in perhaps the most one-sided fight of the three.
Curry spoke to DAZN after the clash and discussed how the fight went down.
"An amazing fight," he said. "A lot of skill, a lot of history.
"You could tell they knew each other really well, GGG had a little last minute rally to try to get back in the fight but Canelo was too much. The right guy won
"I'm on team Canelo, congratulations to Mexico."
