The most important facts

• The Champions League season contains 138 games overall
• DAZN shows 110 games live, 104 of those exclusively in full length
• Sky shows 34 games live, 28 of those exclusively in full length.
• The UEFA Super Cup, the Champions League semi-final and the Champions League finale will be shown on DAZN and Sky at the same time.
• The highlight clips of all games will be available on DAZN shortly after the final whistle.
• Around 12am of a bespoke game day all games, regardless if they were shown live on DAZN or not, will be available as catch-up in full length.

What does DAZN show?
A picking system regulates how the games are shared between DAZN and Sky. This picking system determines specific rules for the different rounds (group stage, round of 16, round of 8). Overall DAZN shows more games in full length, especially in the group stage. DAZN shows around 110 games live in full length.

Round of 16 and round of 8
With the beginning of the KO-phase the allocation of games depends strongly on how many German teams advance to this stage. For the kick off round the so called „German rule“ applies.

Round of 16 and round of 8 - „German rule“
For the first leg games in the round of 16 and the round 8 the „German rule“ means: If there is still only one German team in the tournament, this game is shown on DAZN and Sky simultaneously. If there are two or more German teams, Sky has the 1st pick. Afterwards DAZN will show all the other first leg games with a German team exclusively in full length.

If two German teams play each other in the same game, the game will be shown co-exclusive

This means: if all four German teams advance to the round of 16 / round of 8, DAZN will show three out of maximum four first leg games in full length.

The „German rule“ also says, that all second leg games with a German team are exclusively on Sky. DAZN shows all other parallel games.

If there will be a matchup between two German teams in the round of 16 / round of 8, the first leg will be co-exclusive on both channels. The second leg will be exclusively on Sky, while DAZN shows all parallel games.

Round of 16 - Picking
If the „German rule“ does not apply, the games are shared in the following order:

First leg:

• DAZN has the 2nd and 4th pick (Sky has the 1st and 3rd pick)
• In addition, DAZN shows the parallel games of the Sky picks. (Sky shows the parallel games of the DAZN picks)

Second leg:

• Sky has the 1st pick on every game day.
• DAZN shows the parallel games of the Sky picks.

Round of 8 - Picking
The „German rule“ also applies for the round of 8. If no German team advances to the round of 8, the following picking rules apply.

First leg:

• DAZN has the 2nd pick (Sky has the 1st pick)
• DAZN shows the parallel game of the Sky pick (Sky shows the parallel game of the DAZN pick)

Second leg:

• Sky has the 1st pick on both game days
• DAZN shows the parallel game of the Sky pick

Semi-final and final
From the semi-finals forward it‘s very easy: The first and second leg of the semi-final and the final are live on DAZN and Sky.



Highlights and catch-up of UEFA Champions League games
After the final whistle highlights of each and every game will be available on DAZN. This also includes games that were not shown live on DAZN. In addition DAZN can show all games as catch-ups after 24 pm.
