Frank Williams is one of the great legends of the F1 World Championship. Born in 1942 in South Shields (UK), during his adolescence Frank tried his luck in the world of motor racing as a mechanic and driver, although it was not until 1977 when he took the big leap in the Grand Circus founding, together with his friend and engineer, Patrick Head, Williams Grand Prix Engineering. Under his leadership, the Grove team managed to win nine constructors' and seven drivers' titles, always standing out as a team with great technical innovation and competitive spirit.
