- Open Chrome.
- At the top right, click on the three dots. If an update is pending, the icon will be colored:
- Green: An update has been available for 2 days.
- Orange: An update has been available for 4 days.
- Red: An update has been available for 7 days.
- Click Update Google Chrome - If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version.
- Click Relaunch.
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button > Help > About Firefox. Firefox will begin checking for updates and downloading them automatically.
- When the updates are ready to be installed, click Restart Firefox.
Your Microsoft Edge browser is automatically updated through the Windows 10 updates system. To check if there are updates available for Windows 10, please follow these steps:
- Click on the Windows logo in the lower left corner.
- Click on Settings > Update & Security > Check for updates. If an update for Windows 10 is available, it will be installed automatically and you will get the latest version of Edge.
Your Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 browser is automatically updated through the Windows 10 updates system. To check if there are updates available for Windows 10, please follow these steps:
- Click on the Windows logo in the lower left corner.
- Click on Settings > Update & Security > Check for updates. If an update for Windows 10 is available, it will be installed automatically and you will get the latest version of Edge.
You can keep your Safari browser up to date by making sure that your macOS is up to date. Please follow the guide on the Apple support page to update your macOS.
