Why is my payment declined when I sign up?

There are several reasons why your payment may be declined. We're happy to help you fix this:

Payment address must match the country you're accessing DAZN from
Please check to ensure that the billing address attached to your bank account or card is in the same country that you are accessing DAZN from. For example, if you are accessing DAZN from Germany, your bank account used for sign up must also have a billing address based in Germany.  

Check what country your internet connection is associated with
If you're certain that your billing address matches the country you're in, then please check to see what country your internet connection thinks you are based in. Sometimes your internet connection may be classified in the wrong country. If this is the case, we are happy to try to fix this for you. Please use a checking service, such as What is My IP, and contact us, providing your IP address, as displayed on the page, and the actual country, country and postcode you are in.

Insufficient funds
You must have a minimum amount in your bank account or on your card in order to sign up for DAZN. Please be assured that we do check to ensure that you have sufficient funds. Check the funds in your account or available balance on your card and try again.

Bank or payment provider may not authorise the transaction
Sometimes your payment provider may decline the transaction. Please contact your payment provider directly to check that the transaction went through, and then try again.

But I want to sign up now!
If you've checked the above, and you think your internet connection has been classified as the wrong country, please still contact us so that we can fix the issue. In the meantime, you can try to sign up for DAZN on a different internet connection or via your mobile phone at www.dazn.com (using a 3G or 4G connection).
