‘Public announcement": This is how it works

The DFL wants to make VAR decisions more transparent for fans in the stadium. In a test run in selected stadiums, referee decisions in certain situations will therefore be announced on the pitch via stadium speakers. The referee could also speak to the crowd during the Sunday matches on matchday 20 (Eintracht Frankfurt v VfL Wolfsburg from 14:15 and Bayer 04 Leverkusen v TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from 17:00 live on DAZN).
