The Thüringen born is working hard for her biggest career achievement with Tokyo gold winner Ricarda Funk in Augsburg's Eiskanal. Her coach is her dad: national team coach Thomas Apel. In 2021, the today 26-year-old and generational talent already won her first world cups in the Canadier & Kajak (with the team).
