Undisputed middleweight king Bernard Hopkins put all his belts at stake at the MGM Grand, when he faced Olympic medalist Jermain Taylor. The latter was still undefeated, but Hopkins was riding a 26-fight unbeaten streak, having won 16 by stoppage.
