Bayer Leverkusen are searching are first ever Bundesliga title, and so far things are going to plan.
Xabi Alonso's side sit top of the table after 20 games, two points ahead of Bayern Munich.
And it is not just in the league where Leverkusen are looking unstoppable.
On Tuesday they beat Stuttgart 3-2 to reach the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal and they won all six games in the Europa League to top their group.
All that combined means that Bayer Leverkusen have not lost in any of the 30 games they have played this season - winning 26 and drawing four.
In doing so they have become just the second German side to reach the 30 game mark unbeaten, and they are now just two games away from Bayern Munich's record of 32.
As fate should have it, the next game for the five-time Bundesliga runners-up is against Bayern, who would not only end their incredible run but take first place in the Bundesliga should they win on Saturday.
If Bayer Leverkusen can keep their run going against Munich, then they could equal the record against 10th place Heidenheim on February 17.
