Introduction
At DAZN, we want to enable sports fans to interact and share their experiences of watching, listening to and reading exciting sporting content in an environment that retains freedom of speech, expression, and opinion, whilst providing protection from illegal and harmful content.
The DAZN Community Guidelines provide the general guidance for using DAZN platforms that allow for interaction with our ‘community’. These are the practical steps on ensuring you adhere to our Terms of Use across our platforms. Where appropriate, we may provide separate guidelines for specific DAZN platforms.
Our Guidelines
How to be a Key Player
- Be respectful. We all have different views on our favourite teams and sports stars, so appreciate you may not always agree, and be considerate if you disagree.
- Be sensible. Keep your personal and confidential information to yourself; sharing this could lead to someone impersonating you!
- Be responsible. The things you say on the platform will be seen and shared with other people, so take responsibility for the consequences of the things you post.
- Be helpful. Support other people if they have questions about the community, and tell DAZN if there are things that can make yours and others experience more rewarding.
- Enjoy yourself! Interact with other people and get the most out of DAZN.
When you’re Offside
- Do not use language that is offensive, obscene, sexist, abusive or racist.
- Do not promote or propose violence or physical harm against anyone.
- Do not perform any illegal or unlawful activities – examples outlined in our User to User Terms of Use.
- Do not share information that may identify another person.
- Do not ‘spam’ platforms with repetitive or unwanted messages
Reporting
If you feel someone else has not adhered to these Community Guidelines or has breached our User to User Terms of Use, use the complaint reporting functionality provided on each of the platforms.
Consequences
We apply a number of measures to enforce our Community Guidelines and User to User Terms of Use:
- Pre-approving content
- Removing or blocking content
- Temporary suspension of users
- Permanent banning of users
