Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida will be the venue for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry boxing bout on July 20.
It was also the site where Paul viciously knocked out Tyron Woodley in their December 2021 rematch.
But during an interview posted on Most Valuable Promotions' X page on Tuesday, not only did Perry show zero worries about suffering the same fate as Woodley but he sent a chilling warning toward Paul in the process.
"No, not worried at all," Perry said about finding himself sleeping like Woodley did at the hands of Paul.
"I'm gonna pummel Jake and stay on top of him and stay in his face and punch him," Perry continued.
"[Punch him to the] body, head, shoulders, arms, hips and I'll win the fight."
After producing a 14-8 record in mixed martial arts, Perry, 32, has gone 5-0 as a bare-knuckle fighter, including a first-round TKO (punches) of Thiago Alves in April.
Meanwhile, Paul, at 27, has gone 9-1 with 6 knockouts as a boxer, having rebounded from his February 2023 loss to Tommy Fury by winning three straight including a first-round TKO of Ryan Bourland in March.
