The former welterweight champion is facing WBO belt holder Terence Crawford in November.

Shawn Porter is sceptical that Manny Pacquiao would be able to defeat Yordenis Ugas in a rematch.

Porter is a two-time welterweight champion and could emerge as the WBO belt holder if he beats current champion Terence Crawford on November 20.

Porter has beaten Ugas previously, and the Cuban was something of a surprise winner over Pacquiao as a late replacement for the injured Errol Spence Jr.

Porter believes that a rematch could go differently as the Filipino senator - who is set to run for president in his home country - would have chance to tailor his preparation to Ugas’ style.

"[Ugas' win over Pacquiao] was impressive. It's very difficult to be one hundred percent, but as long as you work hard you can achieve it, but he was impressive, with an excellent fight plan. He executed it, Manny was not ready for him. I'd love to see the rematch," Porter said George Ebro, reported Boxing Scene.

"Yes [I think a rematch would be different]. I think in a rematch Manny would prepare better than he was. He has already seen what Ugas has. Ugas must return with something different.”

However, with Pacquiao blaming a problem with leg fatigue for the defeat, Porter thinks that he would have to solve that fundamental problem to stand a chance.

“Manny has to use his legs. If he can't do that, then don't waste time talking about a rematch. If he can't use his legs, then the result would be the same,” he said.
